SUVelo member Sarah Roy holds second place on the General Classification after stage two of the Route de France. Riding for the Orica-AIS squad, Roy finished tenth on the stage, with only ten seconds separating her from GC leader Amy Pieters (wiggle-High5).
Roy’s form at the Route de France has been first class. Her performance overnight makes it her third consecutive top ten finish in this year’s edition of the race. Roy finished fifth on stage one and second behind race leader Pieters on the Prologue.
With five stages left to race, we’ll be watching with keen interest and cheering our club mate on. Go Sarah!
