Battle of the Bridge

Round Two

The inaugural Battle of the Bridge race series continues this weekend!

Manly Warringah Cycling Club hosts Sunday’s second round of the Battle of the Bridge. Leaving the criterium circuit behind, the battle now moves to the open road.

Full details are as follows:

Sunday 10th July – West Head

A Grade – 3 laps circa 65km 7:45am roll out

B Grade – 3 laps circa 65km 7:50am

C Grade – 2 laps circa 45km 7:55am

D Grade – 2 laps circa 45km 8:00am

Women’s – 2 laps circa 45km 8:05am

All riders can sign on at Elvina Walking Track Car Park from 7:15am. If you choose to drive into the Park and park on West Head Road, please note that you will be under a controlled and restricted road until the race has finished.

$20 entry available online. If you purchased a Battle of the Bridge Season Pass you do not need to re-enter.

Riders are racing for their clubs, so when a rider from SUVelo wins, it will be viewed as a SUVelo victory. Work together, think tactically – this is a team event.

All grades are worth equal points, so we need to see the D grade riders out – this series is as much about you as the race team.

See you on the start line!
