Benefits for Club Members

Sydney Uni Velo Club is very fortunate to have some great club sponsors providing financial support that in-turn helps us support a number of club and racing initiatives throughout the year, intended to benefit our members, our club and the cycling community. There are also sponsors that do not offer direct financial support to the club itself, but instead offer benefits to our current club members through a variety of offers and discounts on their products and services. Below you will find details about our current Member Benefits. We hope you have the opportunity to take these up whilst you are a member of our club.

Current ‘Light Up’ proprieter, Simon Waine, has been associated with various cycling groups over the years, including The Malaya, Wilson Asset Management and SUVelo – this is evidenced by three framed jerseys above the shop door! For those living in the Eastern Suburbs, ‘Light Up’ has been a long-term icon of the Kingsford locale, with Simon taking ownership some three years ago. Simon is generously offering SUVelo club members:

  1. 10% discount on all in-store products: light bulbs, lamp-shades or chandeliers – there’s plenty to choose from
  2. A free initial in-home lighting consultation – normally valued at $200
