After serving for five years as a member of the SUVelo Club Committee, Andrew Best will be stepping down from the role of Sports Director.
Having held many portfolios on the committee over the life of the club, Besty has been instrumental in our success: in addition to serving as Club President for three years his long list of achievements include establishing and managing a strong sponsor group and leading the select group who have been organising and managing SUVelo hosted races.
In response to the EOI process we opened to find a new Sports Director I am pleased to announce that Andrew Duggan has joined the SUVelo Committee and we welcome Andrew’s experience and enthusiasm in this important role. Besty will continue to support SUVelo hosted racing as our Commissaire and will work with Andrew D to continue to promote the healthy racing at SUVelo.
On behalf of the club I want to say a heartfelt thank you to Besty for his contribution, without which we would neither enjoy the success we have seen to date, nor the bright future ahead. Thanks mate!
